My passion to walk with women and help them feel empowered to use their voice (hence the name-Empowered Voice Counseling) comes from my own life experiences.
While my vision is still developing, I know without a doubt that I am here to walk beside women through whatever part of their journey they are on. Are you a single mom? Have you experienced sexual assault, domestic violence or other traumas? Are you trying to find your passion and live authentically and wholly? Do you want to be the best version of you? Are you questioning or working through spiritual deconstruction in an effort to be a better human? I love helping women understand their strengths and their passions and authentic self. To know that they are making a difference in their corner of the world-and that is HUGE-even though it may feel small (trust me, I felt small for a long time).
I offer a safe space for you to discover your full potential as well as a place you can say whatever you need to say, however you need to say it, free of judgement! I take very seriously creating this space for you and a therapeutic relationship that leads to healing.
I believe we all deserve basic human rights, we deserve to live judgement free. I believe no human is illegal, Black Lives Matter, BIPOC matter, love is love and we are all special and unique in our own way and that is what makes the world a beautiful place, full of diversity. All are welcome here!

Education
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and Gerontology from Southern Nazarene University in 2015, I then went on to obtain my Master’s in Counseling Psychology in 2018, from Southern Nazarene University as well. I participated in my internship at Red Rock Behavioral Health where I began my journey in the children’s crisis unit where I ran coping skills groups and provided one on one counseling services to teens. After several months, I transitioned to the adult clinic where I provided one on one counseling services to adult clients from varying backgrounds. I also assisted in leading a psychoeducational group for clients who were transitioning from the criminal system back into the world.
Professional Experience
I have experience working with children and teens and adults in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. My primary area of focus and clinical experience has been working with victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. I passionately enjoy working with women who feel they have lost their way, whether due to trauma, cultural or religious expectations, life demands and anything in between.
